Adoration

Adoration is every Wenesday starting after the 06.00 Mass and continuing till 18.00.
Why not spend some quiet time in our Lord’s presence.

“Praying purifies. Praying makes it possible to resist temptations. Praying strengthens us in our weakness. Praying removes fear, increases energy, and gives a second wind. Praying makes one happy”
- YouCat

Confession

Pope Francis urges us to go to confession. "Everyone say to himself: ‘When was the last time I went to confession?’ And if it has been a long time, don’t lose another day! Jesus receives you. He will receive you with so much love! Be courageous, and go to confession.

Confessions are on Saturday at 16.45 or the First Saturday of the month after 08.00 Mass.

Pre-Baptism Course

Parents wishing to have their babies baptised need to attend this course. The next one will be held on Wednesday 16 May. Please make an appointment to see Father John before attending.

Sunday Mass: Forgivers of Sin

May 18th
The words of Jesus, "Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained," apply not only to the Sacrament of Reconciliation, they apply to all Christians. We are all to be forgivers of sin! And perhaps it is by showing such forgiveness that we most powerfully proclaim that the Lord is risen and has blessed us with his Spirit!

Sunday Mass: Like a Mother's Love

May 11th
Mothers pray for us and worry about us especially when we leave their protective care, and no matter their children's ages, this continues. On this day when we honor the women who have worried and prayed for us as we went out into the world, the Gospel reminds us that Jesus is worried and concerned about us as we go forth into the world.

Sunday Mass: What is Your Grade?

May 04th
It's easy for us as Christians to give ourselves a passing grade if we set the standards, if we determine the requirements. But when we are judged by the Lord, he will use his standards, not ours.
